Catch-Up!

Well—as you can see—I haven’t posted in a few days…. (since Sunday, to be exact.) (And--Sorry this is later than planned....)


So, this post will be a combination of Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and today….

Sunday evening, we went to watch fireworks. Dad, Parker, Graham, Cole and I went about as close as we could get…we could see the fire truck clearly. Mom-Mom (my grandmother) and Lydia stayed back some---and I think Lydia is glad about that! :D

Monday: no pictures, sorry! I forgot my camera when we went to Old Salem :| (where Graham is doing the 5 Yesterdays (5Y) program. More on that later. : )

                             Tuesday—When we went to get Graham from 5Y, we ate lunch there……

.................

...and then went to the Red Carini’s apartment complex. (The Carini’s are refugees from Burma, and my grandmother’s church is helping them out.  My grandmother and some other ladies come to teach the Red Carini ladies English. They even play the hokie-pokie with them!! :D) We took the kids outside and played with them. It’s interesting trying to remember their names! J:)  We had sidewalk chalk, bubbles, and a soccer ball (those kids are GOOD!), and when we got hot, there were popsicles for all!

Tuesday night, we went running (what were we thinking?? It was about 96°F out side!) and went to Chick-fil-a after that...

And, last but not least, yesterday (Wednesday).

We ate lunch in the tent our grandmother gave us….we plan to sleep in it Friday night. :D

And, last but not least, today. :)

Parker is...umm....well...yeah. :)
